SensorTech applications are now closed.
SensorTECH is an RDC-directed research program in the area of sensor research, development and demonstration in simulated and real operating environments.
This program targets non-commercial applicants including: industry associations, innovative community organizations and academic researchers at the College of the North Atlantic and Memorial University of Newfoundland, including its institutes and incorporated entities with the capability to manage R&D projects.
Applicant eligibility, submission requirements and level of R&D funding will vary with two target areas including:
- Collaborative R&D Awards, which targets R&D projects in areas related to sensor research, development and demonstration in simulated and real operating environments.
- Research Tools and Equipment, which supports the acquisition of new or the upgrade of existing tools and equipment to support capacity building and collaborative R&D in the area of remote sensing.
The program goal is to advance R&D in support of the development of sensor technologies, and to enhance remote sensing R&D capacity in Newfoundland and Labrador.
